Clarendon Court Rosters

Clarendon County is located equi-distance between Maine and Miami with I-95 running through the center of the county. Clarendon County has produced five governors of the state. Annie Curtis Burgess, composer of the music to the song “Carolina”, Althea Gibson, the first black woman to play tennis at Wimbledon and Peggy Parish, who wrote the “Amelia Bedelia” series of children’s books are among the famous women who have called Clarendon County Home.

Clarendon County is centrally located between the capitol city Columbia (63 miles) and historic Charleston (77 miles).

For 21 years Clarendon County has been home of the Striped Bass Festival. This festival is celebrated in the Pee Dee in the spring.
