Williamsburg County (population-40,000) is located between historical Charleston (82 miles) and Florence (40 miles). History also comes alive in the central town of Kingstree at the Annual Pig Pickin’ Festival, King’s Tea, Black River Festival and the King’ Tree Trials. Williamsburg Technical College is located in Kingstree along with several primary and secondary schools. Williamsburg County, also known as “Sportsman’s Paradise”, is home to some of the best duck and deer hunting.
