27664 - State v. Manning

The Court reversed the court of appeals' decision State v. Manning, Op. No. 2014-UP-411 (S.C. Ct. App. filed Nov. 19, 2014), finding a full evidentiary hearing was not required prior to the trial court's determination that Respondent was not entitled to immunity under the Protection of Persons and Property Act, S.C. Code Ann. §§ 16-11-410 to -450.

27665 - In the Matter of Chester County Magistrate Angel Underwood

This is a judicial disciplinary opinion in which the Court publicly reprimands a magistrate.

27666 - Joseph v. SC Dept of Labor, Licensing and Regulation

The Court overrules its decision in Sloan v. South Carolina Board of Physical Therapy Examiners, 370 S.C. 452, 636 S.E.2d 598 (2006), and reverses the circuit court's order in this case dismissing Appellants' claims challenging a 2011 position statement from the South Carolina Board of Physical Therapy.

27667 - In the Matter of Kenneth C. Krawcheck

In this opinion, the Court suspends Kenneth C. Krawcheck from the practice of law for three years, retroactive to July 13, 2012, for violations of the Rules of Professional Conduct.

27668 - In the Matter of Charles Lee Anderson

In this opinion, the Court suspends Charles Anderson from the practice of law for two years, retroactive to the date of his interim suspension, January 14, 2014.

27669 - In the Matter of William Isaac Diggs

This is an opinion disbarring a lawyer from the practice of law.
