Judge Pandora L. Jones-Glover

Judge Pandora Jones-Glover was born in Charleston County in 1973. She is the oldest of four children born to James Nick, Jr. and Ruby Jones Nick. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alonzo Wigfall of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, Mrs. Iver Nick and the late Mr. James Nick, Sr. of Huger, South Carolina.

Judge Jones-Glover received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and Political Science from Clemson University in 1995. She received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Arkansas, School of Law in 2000. While at the University of Arkansas, School of Law Judge Jones-Glover served as the president of the Black Law Students Association, clerk of the Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity, member of the Public Interest Law Foundation, and federal judicial extern for the U.S. District Court, Western District of Arkansas.

Judge Jones-Glover was admitted to the South Carolina Bar Association in January 2001. She began her legal career as the law clerk for the Honorable Clifton B. Newman of Third Judicial Circuit. In March 2002, she began working as an Assistant Solicitor for the First Judicial Circuit. Jones-Glover was promoted to First Assistant Solicitor in February of 2004.

On July 1, 2004, Judge Jones-Glover was appointed by Governor Mark Sanford to fill the unexpired term of Judge Vivian Ross-Bennett. Jones-Glover was sworn in as Orangeburg County Probate Judge on July 9, 2004, by the Honorable Clifton Newman, Circuit Court, 3rd Judicial Circuit.

Judge Jones-Glover is a member of the Orangeburg County Bar Association, South Carolina Bar Association, American Bar Association, National Bar Association, and the South Carolina Association of Counties.

She is married to Kenneth Glover of Orangeburg, South Carolina. She enjoys reading, traveling, softball and spending time with her nieces and nephews.
