O R D E R
Pursuant to the provisions of Article V, Section 4, South Carolina Constitution,
IT IS ORDERED that municipal judges who receive money deposited with the court in lieu of bond or recognizance in any criminal proceeding shall pay over the money so received within sixty (60) days from date of receipt to the city treasurer or other official of the municipality designated to receive such funds in which the municipal court shall be located unless the money deposited with the municipal judge shall be forfeited at trial pursuant to law prior to the expiration of the sixty (60) day period.
Failure to comply with this Order shall subject the municipal judge so failing to penalties as for contempt of court.
