Re: Motion and Order for Case Assignment to the Business Court Pilot Program Form


O R D E R


Pursuant to the provisions of S.C. Const. Art. V 4,

The Motion and Order for Case Assignment to the Business Court Pilot Program, SCCA BC Form 101, bearing a revision date of 12/2009 is approved for use in the Circuit Courts of the State of South Carolina. The form was revised to include language which requests that the petitioner indicate whether the non-moving party consents, does not oppose, or opposes assignment to the Business Court pilot program or that their position is unknown. Checkboxes indicating whether exclusive jurisdiction of the Business Court is ordered or denied have also been added to the form.

SCCA BC Form 101 bearing a revision date of 12/2009 supersedes and replaces the SCCA BC Form 101 bearing a revision date of 11/2007.

This form is available on the South Carolina Judicial Department website at www.sccourts.org.
