Re: Ninth Circuit Veterans Court Program
ORDER
Pursuant to the provisions of Article V, Section 4 of the South Carolina Constitution,
IT IS ORDERED that the Honorable Irvin G. Condon, Judge of Probate for Charleston County, is hereby assigned to preside over the Veterans Court for the Ninth Circuit. Pursuant to this appointment, Judge Condon may preside over guilty pleas, bond hearings, probation revocations, motions, and other proceedings related to the defendants participating in the Veterans Court Program for the Ninth Circuit. Further, Judge Condon may impose sanctions for violations of the conditions of the Veterans Court Program.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the Honorable Peter A. Kouten, Associate Judge of Probate for Charleston County, may preside over the Ninth Circuit Veterans Court in the absence of Judge Condon. Pursuant to this appointment, Judge Kouten may preside over guilty pleas, bond hearings, probation revocations, motions, and other proceedings related to the defendants participating in the Ninth Circuit Veterans Court Program. Judge Kouten may impose sanctions for violations of the conditions of the Ninth Circuit Veterans Court Program.
This Order takes effect immediately and remains in effect unless amended or rescinded by the Chief Justice.
