Re: Revised Order of Commitment Up to Sixty Days (SCCA Form 221b)
ORDER
Pursuant to the provisions of Article V, Section 4 of the South Carolina Constitution,
I find that the General Sessions Order of Commitment up to Sixty Days (SCCA 221b) bearing a revision date of 1/2020 is approved for use in the Circuit Courts of the State of South Carolina, effective January 24, 2020. The revised form replaces the form bearing a revision date of 03/2013.
The General Sessions Order of Commitment up to Sixty Days has been amended to include a determination that a defendant has received an order of bond and shall be released from custody until notified that a treatment bed is available at the designated S.C. Department of Mental Health facility.
