Re: Revised General Sessions Sentence Sheet (SCCA/217)
ORDER
Pursuant to the provisions of S.C. Const. Art. V § 4, the General Sessions Sentence Sheet, SCCA 217, bearing a revision date of 07/2016, is approved for use in the Circuit Courts of the State of South Carolina, effective July 1, 2016.
The $5.00 Criminal Justice Academy (CJA) Surcharge and the word "criminal" from "Criminal Domestic Violence" have been removed from the form due to legislative mandates. Additionally, references in the form regarding the $500 public defender fee have been renamed "Proviso 61.6 (Public Def/Probation)."
