MEMORANDUM

Due to Hurricane Matthew, I am directing that all courtroom proceedings in state, county, and municipal courts follow the directives of county or municipal government officials.  Regarding bond hearings and court closures due to inclement weather, a minimum of one bond hearing daily should be conducted, if at all possible.

All county and municipal employees working within the court system shall follow the decisions made by the respective county or municipal government officials in regards to office delays or closings Wednesday, October 4, 2016 through Friday, October 7, 2016.

All state judicial employees shall follow the decisions made by county government officials in regards to office delays or closings Wednesday, October 4, 2016 through Friday, October 7, 2016.  Please refer to the State Emergency Management Division website, www.scemd.org/closings, for the status of state government offices for each county.
