Re: Revised General Sessions Sentence Sheet (SCCA Form 217)
ORDER
Pursuant to the provisions of S.C. Const. art. V, § 4, the Sentence Sheet form bearing a revision date of 04/2018 is approved for use in the Circuit Courts of the State of South Carolina, effective May 1, 2018. The form replaces the Sentence Sheet bearing a revision date of 07/2016.
Related to the Mandatory GPS requirement, the form has been updated to replace "lewd act" with "CSC w/minor 3rd", which was necessitated by amendments to S.C. Code Ann. §§ 16-3-655(C) and 23-3-540(A) by Act No. 255, 2012 S.C. Acts 2030.
The form has also been updated to indicate that the $500.00 public defender/probation fee is set by a proviso. Previously, the form indicated the proviso number. Eliminating the number alleviates the need to revise the form each year with the current proviso number.
