Long-time Bar Examination Monitor Recognized

In an article dated March 24, 2008, The State Newspaper recognized Nancy Self of West Columbia. Ms. Self, who is now 95 years of age, retired from teaching school at Rosewood Elementary School in 1977. Since her retirement, she served as a monitor for the administration of the bar examination until 2007, and she was often assigned to assist applicants with disabilities. Ms. Self was completely devoted to her work as a monitor, and her pleasing and helpful manner were of great benefit to many applicants. The Supreme Court of South Carolina wishes to recognize Ms. Self for the many years of faithful service that she has provided to this Court and to the People of South Carolina.
