State Stimulus Litigation Removed to Federal Court; Argument Cancelled.

Following his intervention in the action filed in the Supreme Court’s original jurisdiction by Casey Edwards and Justin Williams concerning the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 funds, Governor Mark Sanford removed that action to federal court.  Accordingly, the Supreme Court has cancelled the oral argument in the matter scheduled for 2:30 p.m., Thursday, May 28, 2009.
