In this attorney disciplinary matter, the Court imposes a three-year definite suspension.
28048 - In the Matter of Darren S. Haley
In this attorney disciplinary matter, the Court publicly reprimands Respondent.
The Supreme Court affirmed in result the court of appeals opinion holding the parties did not enter into a common law marriage but vacated that portion of the opinion holding the statutory ban on common law marriage was an impediment to the recognition of common law marriage predating the United States Supreme Court decision in Obergefell v. Hodges, 576 U.S. 644 (2015).
