We granted the College of Charleston's petition for a writ of certiorari to review the court of appeals decision in Pate v. College of Charleston, 437 S.C. 139, 876 S.E.2d 877 (Ct. App. 2022). The court of appeals reversed and remanded Pate's workers' compensation case back to the Workers' Compensation Commission for further review and analysis.

The Court will determine whether the trial court erred in denying McDowell's motion for a new trial absolute or new trial nisi remittitur.

We granted the State's petition for a writ of certiorari to review the court of appeals' decision in State v. Johnson, 438 S.C. 110, 129, 882 S.E.2d 190, 200 (Ct. App. 2022), wherein the court of appeals reversed Devin Jamel Johnson's murder conviction because it found the trial court erred in charging the jury on accomplice liability. We will consider whether (1) the court of appeals erred in reversing Johnson's murder conviction because evidence at trial supported the accomplice liability jury instruction and (2) this Court should overrule previous case law as to accomplice liability jury instructions.

We granted a petition for a writ of certiorari to review the court of appeals' opinion in State v. Stoots, Op. No. 2023-UP-051 (S.C. Ct. App. filed Feb. 8, 2023). Stoots was convicted of second-degree domestic violence, and he argues the trial court erred by declining to charge the jury on self-defense and accident. The court of appeals affirmed his conviction.

The Court will determine whether Workman was prejudiced by the trial court's incomplete instruction on the lesser included offense of first-degree domestic violence.

We will determine whether the court of appeals erred in finding unpreserved Cone's argument that the trial court erred in allowing the State to argue a victim's testimony need not be corroborated pursuant to S.C. Code Ann. ยง 16-3-657.
