Title 56 of the 1976 Code of Laws is the general statutory law relating to motor vehicles and the violation of motor vehicle laws that would be tried in the magistrate’s courts. Title 56 has 16 Chapters which in varying degrees contain acts of the General Assembly regulating motor vehicles and traffic law enforcement which would be triable in the magistrate or municipal court or might be before the magistrate or municipal court for a probable cause determination in a matter beyond the trial jurisdiction of the magistrate or municipal court judge.
