The Court dismisses the writ of certiorari as improvidently granted.

4-8-2015 - Opinions

27513 - Colonna v. Marlboro Park Hospital

The Court dismissed certiorari as improvidently granted.

4-15-2015 - Opinions

27514 - Workman v. State

The Court reverses the post-conviction relief (PCR) judge's order and grants petitioner relief, finding petitioner was prejudiced by trial counsel's failure to object to the unconstitutionally coercive Allen charge given at his criminal trial.

4-22-2015 - Opinions

27515 - State v. McDonald

The Court holds that Petitioner's Confrontation Clause rights were violated by the admission of a nontestifying codefendant's statement. However, the Court finds that the error was harmless beyond a reasonable doubt and affirms as modified.

27516 - Rhame v. Charleston County School District

The Court reverses the court of appeals' dismissal of Petitioner's appeal and remands to the court of appeals.

27517 - State v. Odom

In this direct appeal, the Court finds that the trial court erred in taking judicial notice of an element of the charged offense. However, the Court finds that the error is harmless and affirms Appellant's conviction and sentence.

27518 - In the Matter of William Joseph Cutchin

This is an opinion disbarring an attorney.

27519 - Collins v. Seko Charlotte

We granted certiorari to review the Court of Appeals decision in Collins v. Charlotte, 400 S.C. 50, 732 S.E.2d 630 (Ct. App. 2012) and we affirmed.
