Circuit Court Judge James E. Lockemy was presented the Order of the Palmetto on April 25, 2005 by Representative Jackie Hayes.  Judge Lockemy also was promoted to Retired Brigadier General and was awarded the National Guard Retirement Medal by South Carolina Adjutant General Stanhope Spears.  Judge Lockemy was honored with the National Guard Certificate in recognition of his 30 years of service in the armed forces, including 26 years in the National Guard.
