courthouse for Georgetown County

Chief Justice Toal spoke on behalf of a delegation supporting the construction of a new Judicial Center for Georgetown County. In an appearance before County Council Tuesday evening, November 8, 2005, Toal discussed the need for the new courthouse and pledged support from the State Judicial Branch for the technology needs of the county's court system.

 

Attending with Justice Toal were Circuit Court Judges Paula Thomas and Steven John, Clerk of Court Alma White, Probate Judge Waldo Maring, Master in Equity Ben Culbertson, Chief Magistrate Isaac Pyatt, President of the Georgetown Bar Ron Talbert and other courthouse supporters.
