On June 6, 2006, a demonstration of the new video conferencing equipment was presented to a number of public officials, County Council members and county staff. This equipment has been installed in the Georgetown County Detention Center, all Summary Courts in Georgetown County and also in the Circuit courtroom in the County Courthouse. Clerk of Court Alma White and Chief Magistrate Isaac Pyatt discussed the uses of the equipment and Judge Pyatt demonstrated how a hearing is conducted using the video conferencing equipment. |
