ORDER
By order dated November 13, 2012, this Court directed the Richland County Election Commission (County Commission) to canvas the votes and transmit the results to the South Carolina Election Commission (State Commission) by noon today. The County Commission now seeks an extension.
The County Commission has apparently encountered issues that were not anticipated when this Court issued its order. To insure that the County Commission has adequate time to fully and accurately complete the canvas, the time for it to complete the canvas and transmit the results to the State Commission is extended until noon on Monday, November 19, 2012. The State Commission shall declare the results of the election by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, November 19, 2012. Any challenges to the election results must be filed with the appropriate election commission by noon on Monday, November 26, 2012.
