John McPartland brought an action against the South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles (SCDMV) to reinstate his South Carolina driver's license. Great Southern Homes, Inc. (GSH) appeals the circuit court's order denying its motion to dismiss and compel arbitration against Jonathan Mart. Specifically, GSH avers the circuit court erred because (1) GSH did not draft, sign, or issue the StrucSure Home Warranty (the Warranty) and therefore, it should not be construed as incorporated into the contract for sale (the Contract) for the purposes of interpreting the arbitration clauses; (2) GSH and Mart did not intend for the Contract and the Warranty to be interpreted together as demonstrated by the merger clauses; (3) the Warranty did not apply to Mart's causes of action because Mart never filed a claim through the Warranty based on his causes of action; and (4) the Contract did not expressly incorporate the Warranty into its terms.

Charles Willis Gardner appeals the circuit court's order granting partial summary judgment in favor of Taylor Reuben Adams. On appeal, Gardner argues the circuit court erred because (1) Adams failed to show he was the successor in interest to John Howard's property; (2) a prior quiet title order did not confer title to the road and the boat landing to Adams; (3) a question of material fact existed as to the ownership of the road and boat landing; (4) Adams failed to meet the burden to prove trespass to try title; and (5) the property-line dispute was a question of fact for a jury to decide.

Michael Cliff Eubanks appeals his convictions for first degree, second degree, and third degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor (CSC). Eubanks argues the circuit court erred in: (1) allowing two experts to testify that Victim suffered from trauma; (2) admitting evidence of Victim's PTSD; (3) allowing the State to question Victim on re-direct about Eubanks's pornography collection; (4) allowing the State to cross-examine Eubanks about his internet searches; (5) allowing the State to call Eubanks from the stand for a courtroom demonstration; (6) declining to continue the trial so an expert could examine Eubanks's damaged phone when the State was unable to extract data; (7) declining to continue the trial so Eubanks could call his physician to testify; (8) refusing to exclude a juror when it was revealed he previously sold a house to Victim's family member; (9) declining to grant a new trial after Eubanks learned a juror was Facebook friends with the grandmother a witness and an investigator; and (10) declining to charge the jury with second degree assault and battery as a lesser included offense to third degree CSC. Eubanks further contends he is entitled to a new trial because the State's closing arguments were highly prejudicial and due to the cumulative errors committed at trial. Last, Eubanks asks this court to issue guidance on the proper procedure for when the court reporter assigned to the trial accepts employment with one of the parties prior to completing the trial transcript.

In this post-conviction relief (PCR) action, Travis Hines (Petitioner) appeals the denial of his PCR application as to his guilty plea for distribution of heroin, third offense. He contends he did not waive his right to counsel with a full understanding of his rights and the consequences of self-representation. He also maintains the PCR court erroneously found the State "turned over all evidence as [it] received it" because the State did not allow Petitioner to view video evidence that allegedly depicted him involved in a controlled drug purchase.

In this estate dispute, the decedent, Harriet Tims, died intestate having certain real property titled in her name. The decedent's three children, Samuel Tims, Michael Tims, and Appellant Deborah T. Krane, disagree as to whether this property was an asset of the estate or a trust in favor of Michael. Samuel filed a declaratory action arguing the property should be held in trust until Michael fulfills the obligation of an existing land exchange agreement (LEA). Appellant filed a motion for summary judgment, arguing the action was time barred under section 62-3-803 of the South Carolina Code (). The circuit court ruled the nonclaim statute did not apply because the action was a dispute involving title to real property. On appeal, Appellant argues the circuit court erred by finding that: (1) the claim was not barred by the nonclaim statute; (2) the LEA created a resulting trust for Michael Tims; and (3) Appellant was not entitled to a jury trial.

William C. Sellers appeals his conviction for murder. This appeal arises from lawsuits against approximately 115 defendants made up of property owners, alleging the defendants' illegal short-term rental businesses in Charleston damaged the legal short-term rental businesses of Charleston Development Company, LLC, Charleston Housing Company, LLC, and NotSoHostel, LLC, (collectively, Appellants). Appellants appeal from the trial court's grant of summary judgment to all defendants (most of whom are Respondents), arguing the trial court erred in granting summary judgment against their (1) claim under City of Charleston Ordinance 54-905; (2) claim for violation of the Unfair Trade Practices Act (UTPA); and (3) nuisance claim. They also argue they are entitled to the video-taped depositions of Respondents.
