Act 361 of 2008 moved all provisions, including criminal statutes, previously contained in Title 20, Chapter 7, to the new Title 63.  Please be advised that Act 361 contains a savings clause which provides that any warrants, tickets, etc. which were previously written under Title 20, Chapter 7, may still be pursued under those code sections.  However, at this point in time, all charges should be written using the new Title 63 sections. 

The Code of Laws online, which can be found at www.scstatehouse.gov, now contains the new Title 63.

The CDR codes will be converted to the new code sections as soon as possible. Until the conversion is complete, the current CDR codes which contain reference to the old sections under Title 20, Chapter 7 may be used.
