Re: Thirteenth Judicial Circuit Body Worn Camera Video Protective Order

ORDER

Pursuant to the provisions of Article V, Section 4 of the South Carolina Constitution,

I find that on May 13, 2019, the Circuit Court Judges of the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit issued an Administrative Order limiting the dissemination of recordings produced by Body-Worn Cameras ("BWC"). 

I find that this Administrative Order, which affects the operation of the courts, was issued without prior approval. 

I find that this Administrative Order was not filed with the Office of South Carolina Court Administration as mandated by Administrative Order dated October 30, 2018.

Accordingly, the Administrative Order dated May 13, 2019, is vacated. 

IT IS SO ORDERED.
