ORDER - Amendment to Rule 401, South Carolina Appellate Court Rules
At the request of the South Carolina Commission on Alternative Dispute Resolution, the Court has amended Rule 401, SCACR, to permit eligible law students to serve as mediators in certain matters.

This is an opinion in which the Court imposed reciprocal discipline on a lawyer.

26557 - McCrea V. Gheraibeh

In this case, the Court reverses the decision of the court of appeals upholding the trial court’s denial of Petitioner’s Batson motion. Specifically, the Court holds that trial counsel’s reason for dismissing a juror was not a race-neutral reason.
