The Court remands this post-conviction relief (PCR) matter to the circuit court for a de novo PCR hearing. The Court finds the PCR court's decision to take judicial notice of the substance of several witnesses' testimony and then find those witnesses not credible was error.10-31-2018 - Opinions
27844 - In the Matter of Erickson
Respondent failed to notify the Commission on Lawyer Conduct of his five year suspension in North Carolina. After the belated discovery of the suspension, respondent was reciprocally suspended from the practice of law in South Carolina, retroactively applied from the date of his North Carolina suspension.
