Aiken native Tonya Marchant has 29 years’ experience with Aiken County Probate Court.

She was appointed Deputy Probate Judge March 30, 2001 and appointed Associate Probate Judge January 3, 2003.  She was unopposed in the general election in November, 2016.

Judge Marchant ran for the Office of Aiken County Probate Judge because she believes the citizens deserve to be treated with honesty and compassion. Having served in the Probate Court system for the past 29 years, she has both the knowledge and experience necessary in continuing to assist families through the probate process.  As Probate Judge she will continue her commitment to serving families of Aiken County with honesty, integrity and excellence.
