RE: 2023 Mandatory Bond Court Program for Magistrates and Municipal Judges
ORDER
Pursuant to the provisions of Article V, Section 4 of the South Carolina Constitution,
IT IS ORDERED that all magistrates and municipal judges shall attend a training program held in-person at the South Carolina Judicial Branch’s Judicial Education Center located at 1301 Gervais Street in Columbia, South Carolina.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the Office of South Carolina Court Administration shall plan, coordinate, and conduct the program referred to herein. At least a portion of the training program must be devoted to instruction regarding setting bond in criminal cases.
