South Carolina Supreme Court Historical Society Honors the Legacy of Chief Justice Julius B. “Bubba” Ness

The Supreme Court of South Carolina hosted a ceremony today honoring the memory and legacy of Chief Justice Julius B. “Bubba” Ness. Keynote remarks were delivered by Justice Kaye Gorenflo Hearn, who formerly served as a law clerk to Justice Ness. During the ceremony, a book of memories and stories about the late Chief Justice Ness was presented by his family to the Supreme Court.

The South Carolina Supreme Court Historical Society is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization that preserves the history of South Carolina's third branch of government through maintaining historic collections, sponsoring educational seminars, and publishing articles. The Society sponsors these projects through contributions from its members and gifts from community organizations.
