New Web Calendar Unveiled

The SCJD Web Team is very pleased to announce that our new calendar system for the South Carolina Judicial Department's website is now operational.  The new calendar system, developed in house, allows our visitors to obtain up-to-date information about circuit and family court terms as well as general events.

Visitors can view the calendar information three ways:

• The monthly calendar view allows visitors to see what's happening in Circuit and Family Court on a daily basis by court type or for the whole day.  This is the default view.  
• A terms of court view allowing visitors to view the terms of Family and Circuit Court on a monthly basis.  This view displays the following information:  Circuit, County, Court Type, the judge assigned and the court reporter(s) assigned.  Visitors can access the court reporter's address by clicking on their name.
• Also available are Circuit Court Assignments and Family Court Assignments that display the schedule by the assigned judge.
• The search facility allows visitors to search for scheduled events by judge, event type, county and circuit.

Other enhancements are planned for the calendar system.  These include the display of Supreme Court and Court of Appeals court events on both the calendar view and in a special roster view.  If you have any suggestions or comments about the new system, please email the webmaster.
